SOUNDING THE ALL CLEAR
The stats are in for 2010 and the news is terrific: Americans are investing in cosmetic surgery again. Cosmetic Surgery Times reports increases across the board in the most popular procedures you offer.
In case you haven't read your copy of CST, here's where you can see the glad tidings:
LOW-IMPACT
Surgical procedures are up, and injectables are also booming. They are now cosmetic medicine's growth area.
Reports from many sources predict Botox and fillers will continue to make inroads as treatments of first choice. The public perceives them as small blessings that keep their skin from deteriorating, and may help them avoid the knife until later in life.
STAY VISIBLE – STAY SMART
To make sure you're riding the new wave of prosperity, keep your visibility high and follow the smart money:
- 1. Invest in Internet marketing, whether it's social media, e-mail or Internet advertising (Pay-per-Click, etc.) It's where things are going.
- 2. Stay on top of mobile device developments. Look into programs that let your patients book their Botox and other repeat procedures from their iPhones, Blackberries and other smartphones.
- 3. Follow developments in SIM technology – mobile apps and animation software that give patients glimpses of their possible results ahead-of-time, on computer screens. Don't underestimate the power of exciting new technology to impress and sell.
NOW'S THE TIME
With money moving back into circulation, it's time to put your practice back in the limelight. A tsunami is building, and you've got the skills and infrastructure to make the most of it.
Lead, and the public will follow.
Yours in continued prosperity,
