Those of you who know me know that I'm scrupulous about explaining your surgery to you before performing it. I only want to operate on informed, educated patients who have no illusions about the procedures they're undertaking.

When you come in for your initial consultation, I always take time to show you exactly what the procedure you're asking about entails. During our pre-op meetings, I go into even more detail.
